The NAATI CCL Malayalam, Hindi or Telugu is an assessment of your language abilities at a community level.
The NAATI CCL Test is generally taken by aspirants who are looking to apply for a point-based visa. On successfully clearing the exam, applicants are awarded five points towards the Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189), Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190), or Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 489). NAATI CCL does not set or administer immigration policy.
NAATI CCL exams are conducted online, candidates can take exams from any location in the world. All exams are conducted in Canberra, Australian time.
The exam is conducted online with a software called Proctor, which will perform the necessary pre-test administration including ID (passport or driving license) room check. Please note it may take up to 10-15 minutes to complete the set-up for the exam but this won’t affect the exam time. Once the setup is completed you will be prompted with a test link.

During the exam, students will get two dialogues and they are required to convey the meaning of what each speaker says in the other language. This means that the student should start the response within 5 seconds which is permitted without penalty. The duration of the exam is 35 minutes. The exam will be closed automatically after reaching that point.

The exam audio and video will be recorded for assessment purposes. all suspicious behaviour will be flagged and may need clarification. Any breach of the exam conditions may result in the cancellation of the test. This recording will be retained by NAATI CCL after the assessment of your test is completed.

By giving the test, the student is agreeing to maintain the confidentiality of the test materials.
A student should not access any materials during the test, other than a pen and blank paper. Candidates are not allowed to use any electronic devices during the NAATI CCL test session.
If a student is required to use hearing aids, the student has to inform NAATI CCL authorities at least one week before the test date. This can be done by sending a picture and the model number of your hearing aids to firstname.lastname@example.org.
